Rehabiliation

It took me  about two years to recover from the Damage cause by the Strokes!This includes all the primary stuff that I had to learn to do again :swallowing , eating , walking , holding  something...Even smiling.

Walking was the most difficult!!!I had about 6 physical therapists all along those two years to help me !!! One's best friend and/or worst enemy while on rehab , at least physical rehab in my case is one's mind !A Positive mindset will help you go through pain  and hardship.Negativity is deadly in that case : doubt , questions.... no good!!Don't get me wrong I am not saying I had no doubt or negative  thoughts!!But I clearly know at the time what i wanted and with the help of my family aka :Sister,brother, Mother and father!I made it!!I stayed in a wheel chair for less than 6 months!but a very special thought to the local Malagasy Therapists who actually helped me the most!Made me cry  and was tough with me for 3 months  but  the results  were there :When I landed in Madagascar in December 1999 I was in a wheel chair , I could walk, with the assistance of my mother  for 5mn and that was it!When I took the plane back o France in February 2000!
I had no wheel chair and no assistance to help me  to get on That Air Madagascar Plane In Antananarivo!
